MZANSI 2 kicks off.
Mzansi 2 has commenced shooting, and I'm thrilled to be providing music for the second season. The plot is set to thicken as all the action from season one continues
Mzansi is a soap opera that starts out as a mystery and becomes the saga of two powerful men - Lunga Gwedashe and Chris Ncgobo - and their families, involved in a pitched battle for power and revenge that started 20 years ago.
Six months had elapsed since the end of the last episode. In that time Monti and Venge have been sharing the same room at Bellas but, having very little to do with the club. Bellas has acquired a bad reputation as a result of the death of Amos and the way it so quickly went off the boil after that. Oupa has been trying to run Bellas… but he really has very little experience of the entertainment world and with Tina gone too it has all started to unravel quite badly at the club. The public perception is that it has never really recovered from the fact that a prominent government official committed suicide by jumping off the roof in the middle of a high profile function. Hookers have begun to filter back and Oupa rents rooms to them by the hour.
